Puzzle theme requests
Theme requests are the most common message we get and the easiest to act on. If you send one, a few words of context help: the age group, whether you want standard or large print, and roughly how hard it should be. A word search for first graders and one for a memory care group are different puzzles even on the same theme, and knowing which you need means we build the right one.
If you need something before we get to it, the word search maker takes any word list you type and produces a finished puzzle in seconds. That is almost always faster than waiting for us.
Reporting a problem
Two problems are worth telling us about immediately. A puzzle with a word that cannot be found means the placement failed, and we want to see it. A puzzle that prints cut off, blank, or with the grid split across two pages usually points to a browser or paper-size issue we are able to fix. In both cases, tell us which browser you used, what paper size, and the name of the puzzle page.
Typos in themed word lists get corrected the same day. Those are our fault and we would rather hear about them than not.
Outside what we do
We are not able to solve a puzzle for you, recover a puzzle you printed and lost, or retrieve a word list you typed earlier. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is stored on our end, so once you close the tab the puzzle is gone. Generate and print in the same session, or save as PDF before leaving the page.
We also do not take custom design commissions or produce branded puzzle books to order.
Classroom, library, and bulk use
You do not need permission to print our free puzzles for a class, a library program, a care facility, or an event, at any quantity. That question comes up often enough to answer here rather than by email. The only restriction is on reselling printables as your own product. If that is what you need, the licensed printable packs cover it.
Response times
Email is the only channel we monitor and we read every message. Expect a reply within two business days. Bug reports and typo corrections jump the queue.
